For its second stage, the 2021 Enduro World Championship moved, on the weekend of 25 and 27 June, to Edolo, in the province of Bergamo, for the Italian GP.
Growing results for our Enrico Zilli who, however, like true thoroughbred horses, is still not satisfied with his results: on the first day he obtained the eighth place in the Junior 2 category and the twelfth in the Junior category, while in the second he reached the eighth in Junior 2 and thirteenth in Junior.
Weekend below my expectations. I had some difficulties in the Enduro Test where I found a different terrain from the ones I usually train on. All in all, however, the race went better than in Portugal and, little by little, I am noticing improvements.
I hope to continue the trend in the next races in Estonia and Sweden
The race was very demanding and very long with a course of 360 km and 1h and 15 minutes of special stages per day. Unfortunately, I was never able to find the right feeling with the type of terrain. I am not very satisfied with the result and I hope to do better next time
The next appointment will be in Estonia on 17 and 18 July.
